The 2006 edition of the Andrew Warde Class of 1976 Reunion Organizing Committee is the largest ever, and has worked actively in putting together a great event and contacting as many classmates as possible. The group got the word out via phone, e-mails, TV, radio, local and regional newspapers, church bulletins and other means.
Realizing the scope of their task, they set up a Website that has been used as a class focus point and a tool for easy communication between friends.
We had a great turnout on August 19, 2006. When all was said and done, our expectations were exceeded. An initial count tallied approximately 155 students. Classmates came from CA, FL, TX, OH, VT, WY, GA, MI, NM, VA, PA, SC, IL, DE, MD, NH, NY, NJ and MA. And that's just from the USA!
How about this...Frank Fekete came from Budapest, Hungary to be with us. Not to be outdone, Stephan Lang, then living in Moscow, Russia, also attended. And we can't leave out Dara Asken, smiling as always. She arrived from "nearby" Paris, France.
